School Itinerary

Can you imagine going to High School and not knowing what subjects you will be taking, not knowing

where your classes are located, and not knowing your way around the school? The kids would arrive at

school and there would be chaos! Everyone going to each classroom to see if that's the one they are

supposed to be in at that time!

Figuring out what life is all about is sometimes a daunting pursuit! Some people have an idea of who they

want to be when they grow up and understand what it takes to get there. Perhaps they have great

parents that instruct them well or maybe an older sibling that helps to guide them. If we have no

instruction, how do we know what to do? We learn by observing others and going to school.

But what about moral and spiritual matters? We have laws that tell us what is wrong, made by our

legislators but what about certain laws that concern how we behave as spiritual individuals?

Is it wrong to have sexual relations with another's spouse? Is it wrong to cheat someone out of money?

God implemented instructions for all of mankind from the very beginning, way before mankind was

Created. The instructions are called the Torah. Yet, that complete 613 instructions wouldn't be revealed

until the Israelites were out of Egypt. These instructions were given to the Israelites to safe guard.

Before these 613 instructions were given, there were a set of instructions basic for all of mankind.

The 7 Laws of Noah. There was already one law that Adam and Eve knew about and Cain was

guilty of murdering his brother Abel. Cain knew he did a bad deed before HaShem even asked him

where his brother was.

The 7 Laws of Noah have been recorded in the Talmud and before that the laws were passed down

orally from one generation to the next. Isn't it interesting that in the day of the Pharaohs of Egypt,

they know it was wrong to murder another human?

We are human beings with a higher soul then animals. If animals are hungry, they hunt and kill.

Humans behave differently. Thou shall not murder (another human being) is something we know not

to do and we have been instructed by God not to do.

The 7 Laws of Noah is the "itinerary" we need for our life's journey.  ALL of mankind should be

aware of these laws that God gave to us. The 613 instructions are meant for the Jewish people.

The 7 Laws of Noah are meant for all of mankind.
